Tigerwood’s bold striping and hardness make it one of the most exotic and sought-after Brazilian hardwoods.


Color and Photosensitivity:
Tigerwood offers large variation in striping, darkening with time, featuring light golden browns to reddish brown color with blackish brown streaks, giving it a striking appearance.


Janka Hardness Rating:
1850 lbs. (839.14 kg.) By comparison, Northern Red Oak's is 1,290 lbs. (585 kg.)
